Duque’s beach Tenerife

It is located in one of the less windy areas of the island and is part of the group of twelve beaches of Tenerife suitable for people in wheelchairs, it is in fact called the Cabildo of Tenerife “Beach accessible”, with reserved parking and wheelchair access.

A part of its golden beach is dedicated to those who decide to spend the whole day lying comfortably on loungers or hammocks, while there is also the “free” part where you can equip yourself carrying umbrellas and portable chairs.

It is very well served, has toilets, showers and many bars, restaurants to choose where to have lunch while having a wonderful sea view. On the promenade and in the surrounding area, you can find some luxury shopping centers, such as the C.C. Plaza del Duque or C.C. El Mirador, luxury hotel, ATM and a taxi rank nearby. Undoubtedly, this beach is located in one of the most exclusive areas of the south of Tenerife.

On April 23, 2018, Adeje City Council extended the beach area with the inauguration of the Playa del Duque Norte beach, in El Beril, with an investment of about two million euros; has a length of 400 meters of toasted sand, with access and furniture suitable for people with reduced mobility.
