This chain of shopping centers has three hypermarkets in the Canary Islands, with an area dedicated to the sales area of 31,200 square meters, where 1,300 people work! The construction of this large commercial area involved an investment of approximately 36.06 million euro and the creation of 400 direct jobs, and is the largest in operation in the Canary Islands.

This shopping center is certainly among the largest and most historic in Tenerife, in its history El Corte Inglés takes its name from a small tailor’s shop founded in 1890 and located between the streets of Preciados,
Carmen and Rompelanzas, from Madrid. In 1935, Ramón Areces Rodríguez, supported by his uncle César Rodríguez, bought the tailor shop, thus beginning his entrepreneurial venture.
Curious as a tailor, this group now present throughout Spain and beyond, has maintained its name “The English cut”, despite a growth that has led to the acquisition of other groups and to expand also in Portugal.
Today this shopping center in Santa Cruz, has almost 100 stores on 9 floors, a large free underground parking, and a huge terrace with a spectacular view.

This shopping center is among the most recent as a construction and we find it in the South of Tenerife in the center of the tourist area right next to the water park number 1 for SIAM PARK reviews!

We find over 70 stores dedicated to fashion, entertainment and catering, all perfectly integrated into a single outdoor space.
