Teide’s National Park is one of Tenerife‘s main attractions. The majesty of the volcano silhouetted against the blue sky, the valley dotted with rocks with peculiar conformations such as Roques de García, and the green of the pine forests are just some of the special features of this enchanted place.
If by day the atmosphere is magical, by night it is even more so. We invite you to take the road to Teide at sunset, when the stars of the celestial vault peep out of the dark sky; you will not be disappointed! Away from the most touristy areas, where light pollution is minimal, you can observe wonderful stars, at no cost! If you are patient enough to observe the sky long enough, you will also be lucky enough to see some shooting stars peeping out.
The sky above the Teide National Park will not compare to that of La Palma, one of the best places in the world for stargazing, but we are sure you will be surprised. Remember to bring something to cover you up, bearing in mind the temperatures tend to be colder, so that you are prepared and can fully enjoy the enchantment of the sky above Tenerife.
