Roque de Taborno
Roque de Taborno is a small but spectacular rock, a 50m high tower, located on the northern coast of the Anaga peninsula in the northwest of Tenerife.
Roque de Taborno rises above a small plateau, which rises directly from the Atlantic for 6000m.
It is located north of the town of Taborno and is easily accessible by a short hiking trail but be careful because the rock is covered with cacti and euphorbia.
The best route follows the steep slope on the south-west spur of the rock and then crosses the south face for the final climb along the most difficult part near its summit.
