Charco la Laja
Located in San Juan de La Rambla, the Charco la Laja is a natural pool created from volcanic lava and is one of the most characteristic places in the north of Tenerife.
Easily accessible via a staircase in the heart of the city, the Charco la Laja forms a place that collects some particular natural characteristics that have supported an important tourist-recreational activity, leisure, coastal fishing, solarium, bathing and walking.
Before arriving at the pools, take a look at the storm surges because, if the sea is rough, we do not recommend diving due to the strong currents it creates.
If you decide to spend a day with the family, remember to bring everything you need to drink and eat because once you arrive at the Charco la Laja, you will not find bars or chiringuiti, otherwise you can take a stroll around the beautiful San Juan de la Rambla and taste the real Canarian cuisine in one of the restaurants you will find.
