A town of 9,400 inhabitants, it is located in a crossroads area of truly impressive naturalistic interests; besides being one of the points of “attack” to the Teide is also the departure of an exciting circuit that, passing through Masca and its luxuriant valleys, will take us (in a next visit) to reach up to Garachico, another magnificent example of extraordinary island naturalism.
